After both the Marathon and the 10km Road Races sold out, the time has also arrived for the 5km Road Race registrations to close for this year’s 41st “Athens Marathon. The Authentic” event.
The few remaining places have already been filled, so the 5km Universities Night Run is the only distance open to runners. The two 5Km races will take place on Saturday afternoon (November 9th) and will be attended by thousands of sports fans of all ages.
This year’s event is expected to break new participation records, as it will gather around 74,000 participants in all distances. It is characteristic that runners from 152 countries will come to Greece to take part in this great sporting event.
The Athens Authentic Marathon, as well as the OPAP 10km Road Race will take place on November 10th, while the STOIXIMAN 5km Road Race and also the 5km Universities Night Run will be held on Saturday, November 9th.
